A Feast for the Eyes and Palate

As guests enter the Schuler's dining room prepared for a nice meal they have no idea what a feast it's going to be (unless of course, they've been there before on a Sunday morning).

"I don't know where to start," is the most common statement heard by the wait staff. Donna (a server captain at Schuler's) is seen stepping up to her first table of the day, suggesting the breakfast entrees to her guests while tantalizing their taste buds. "You won't want to miss the fancy items and the prime rib that are on the long table to the left, and the breakfast choices are in the middle with waffles, crepes, eggs, bacon, sausage, and Eggs Benedict to enjoy. Anywhere you want to start is ok, we don't go by any rules so take your time and enjoy a sample of everything," she instructs, "I'll keep your coffee hot, your water poured, and the evidence cleared away."

The next round includes a long line-up of hot entrees where a father can be heard quizzing his daughter, "Are you sure you will eat all of that? You don't want to waste anything." The choices are overwhelming for the girl at that juncture and he heads off to the other side of the long row of food to sample the assortment of cheeses, soup, salads and fruit concoctions.

Fortunately, the signage, next to each dish, is in big print, thus helping to identify the many beautiful entrees for the guests.

"The smoked salmon is so beautiful and tasty," proclaims another delighted diner. "Then I got to the chicken salad and decided to go back for seconds, it was so good but I was already so full, I could hardly do it justice."

"I always save room for the chocolate cherry cake," says one frequent guest. It's so sinful but absolutely delicious, I just can't give it up!"

The last word heard by Donna as the happy family left her table was, "Thank goodness, I don't have to fix another meal today, we are all so full."
